Our design team continues to strive in reducing defects, enhance productivity and will design and fabricate specific to our customer’s specialized application needs.
SMT/Transport plates:
Our SMT Fixtures designs are aimed at simple design and quick turnaround. Our team has a vast experience of SMT fixtures with custom requirement such as incorporate cavity to hold connector during reflow and sky bar design to keep connector in place during reflow. We also design pallets for Flex rigid assemblies where maintaining coplanarity while solder paste printing is essential.
Wave Solder/Selective Solder pallets:
Our team has a good understanding of the challenges on wave soldering and our wave fixture designs are aimed at providing more clearance for the soldering area and solder relief cavities, gas channels and chamfered opening on the backside to improve solder flow. Our design also incorporates special custom requirements such as sky bars and clamps upon customer’s request.
Press fit Fixtures:
We design base style and block style press fit fixtures based on the component’s height. Tall components would more depth clearance and our block style fixtures are a perfect solution for this case, cost saving as compared to a fixture machined from a thick aluminum block. We also design support fixtures for Pem nut press and swage standoff press. We also design universal press fit fixture for cages on same location on both sides of PCB (for belly to belly connectors) with removable support block to reduce cost.
Universal carriers:
Universal/adjustable carriers can be used for variety of process from SMT to circuit testing to selective soldering. We design 2 kinds of universal carriers, one a simple design to reduce cost and other with bearing for smooth sliding bar mechanism. We can add many numbers of sliding bars on request to increase holding capacity of the carrier.
Custom Fixtures/Jigs
Our design team also has a vast knowledge in designing custom fixtures such as component trays, heat sink alignment Jigs, Thermal crease print fixtures, lead forming/bending jigs and hand solder fixtures.
